These funds are the foundation of what we need to keep the business functional and organized. Funds applied here help to pay for things like our website hosting, payment processing, office software, PO box rental, and other expenses we need to run the nonprofit efficiently.
Entertainment $7k
These funds are used to pay to hire entertainers, speakers, DJs, and licensing costs. It is also used to play for travel arrangements and hotels for performers traveling from distant parts of the US.
Equipment / Asset Procurement $20k
Hosting these events requires a lot of equipment such as tents, tables, chairs, computers, sound equipment and so much more. We also must supply usable water, electricity and waste disposal to meet the needs of our attendees and the standards we hold our events to. This also requires a means of transport and space to store it all.
Merchandise $7k
We are proud of what we are doing and hope you will like it enough o purchase some swag we made to commemorate it! These funds also help pay for things in our camp store in case you forget something critical but do not want to drive back into town or go home to grab it. We also use these funds to provide prizes for games like bingo and raffles.
Advertising $5k
Funds applied to this category are used to produce our posters, digital media and asst us with getting the word out to members of our community about the events we are hosting and what they can expect there.
Event Administrative Costs $5k
Every event has some administrative costs associated with it. Permits need to be pulled, facility fees to be paid, insurance must be obtained, and licenses need to be secured. Funds applied here ensure we are doing things the right way and by the book.
